IPPOA has entered into a PPO contract
arrangement with the
National
HealthCare ACCESS Club™
(NHAC)
NHAC is a health care purchasing
program for the uninsured and
underinsured population. There are
over 45 million people in the USA that
do not have insurance and twice that
amount that are underinsured.
NHAC provides a membership to the
public on:
No charge to join - membership in
states like California. The
membership is provided to the public
without charging a monthly or annual
fee. This makes purchasing health
care affordable by a larger base of
individuals. Members are charged a fee as
a percentage of the savings. This
allows no risk to the public and saves
hundreds or thousands of dollars, by not having to pay for a
membership from other companies.
NHAC also offers a Prepaid Card
(stored value added card) thereby
allowing is members that do not have a
checking account or credit card, to
purchase health care.
FOR THE
EMPLOYED MEMBERS
Employees usually present the NHAC
program to their employers.
Employers see the opportunity to offer a
no-cost to the employer health care savings
program to their employees. Offering the NHAC program
adds benefits to the employees and
reduces turnover. Employers also
reduce their payroll cost by reducing
the taxable wages!
The NHAC Prepaid Card allows employers
that offer a "flexible spending account"
to save they employees taxes
(approximately 30%) on the purchase of
health care goods and services.
In other words the employee can set
aside part of their earnings "pre-tax"
to purchase health care goods and
services.
